An Urgent Appeal for Aid to Ukraine
I have never before asked clients and customers of the penguin to make a donation to any cause. But these are times that none of us have ever seen. The man spearheading the effort for which I am seeking your support, Scott Speil, is a family friend. I have known him since shortly after his birth. Since childhood he has been fascinated with all things Russian. His commitment to Russian-American relations is far greater than my own. I merely studied them, he lived them. He has also lived and worked for four years in Ukraine and has many close friends and contacts there. I know him to be an effective manager in all his endeavors, and I am proud to be supporting his efforts.
