Preparing to Travel

Those of you who follow us, are aware that my wife has recently retired and that we are planning some travel, hence, the recent car (see my January posts), and now I have acquired a new camera for the trip. Nothing too fancy, I wouldn't be able to use it, but a Panasonic Lumix GX7 . I'm still using the kit lens, but I am hoping to add a few better ones over the next year or few. So today I took it out to the Henry Cowell Redwoods in the nearby Santa Cruz mountains just to see what it could do while we were out on a quick little 1.5 mile walk in the redwoods. A few of my first efforts: I did a bit of processing on this one (above) just for fun. All the other images are as they came from the camera on standard settings.
