I'm honored to have been amongst those who participated in this monumental election. I'm also dismayed. I'm dismayed that so many people who voted to Obama also voted for Prop 8 and other such measures in other States. I am convinced that freedom to marry the person you desire will be one of the civil rights we look back upon in the future with dismay that we took so long to recognize. Until all share the same civil rights - regardless of any intrinsic characteristic of that person - none of us should rest on the laurels of this victory. None are free until all are free.
When all are free we will have DONE IT!
