A Walk in the Garden

After many years of driving past it, last year we visited and then joined the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens. So now it has become a tradition. In fact my last walk on my old knees was here.

In 2019 California had an extraordinarily wet winter. In spring the wildflowers were in a “superbloom” that made it into the pages of The New York Times. Even in summer there are flowers in profusion, especially in the gardens, but everywhere, along the roads, across the hillsides.
